Online Learning

The purpose of the Online Learning SIG is to encourage cross institutional connections and share strategies for effective engagement of students in online learning. Studies such as Stone (2023) indicate that students who engage with their learning environment and gain a sense of belonging do better at university. This is particularly important for students from equity groups who may experience imposter syndrome and also challenges with the online environment (Devlin, 2016). If you’re interested in sharing and learning about effective online student engagement please join our webinars.
