Research Development and Collaboration

The research development and collaboration SIG seeks to unite colleagues with a shared interest in research related to enabling programs, student transitions into and through higher education and lifelong learning, as well as widening participation, equity, and social justice in education. Our SIG’s objectives encompass several key aspects: First, we aim to provide a supportive framework that offers events and activities to bring together diverse perspectives in enabling and related fields of research. Second, we strive to foster a vibrant research community where members collaboratively contribute to and shape the direction of the SIG. Third, we provide valuable insights on research approaches, skill development, publishing, and project opportunities. Fourth, we actively promote activities that bolster the NAEEA’s research capacity and influence on both national and international levels. Finally, we are dedicated to contributing to other NAEEA activities and events, thus enriching the overall educational landscape. Join us in this exciting journey of advancing research and knowledge in enabling and educational transitions!
