Our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) SIG is dedicated to enhancing STEM education within the enabling context. As part of this SIG, we bring together educators from diverse backgrounds who share a passion for empowering students in science, technology, engineering, and maths fields. Our collaborative platform fosters the exchange of innovative teaching methodologies, resources, and research to create an engaging and inclusive STEM learning environment for all students.   • Dr Cinzia Loddo

    Dr Cinzia Loddo is a Lecturer at The University of Notre Dame Australia. She completed her PhD in Chemical Sciences in Italy and worked in Medical Research for several years before moving to Perth in 2012. Cinzia has been teaching Biochemistry, Biological Chemistry and Anatomy & Physiology for more than 10 years. She is currently the National Coordinator of Foundations of Human Biology and Essential Mathematics in the Tertiary Pathway Program at The University of Notre Dame Australia. Cinzia is very passionate about teaching and is an Advance HE Fellow (FHEA). She is interested in innovative, engaging methodologies to empower students in the STEM fields. Besides work, Cinzia loves travelling and embracing new opportunities.

  • Kerry Bond

    Kerry Bond is an Associate Lecturer and Academic Learning Adviser in CQUniversity’s School of Access Education. She has been teaching biosciences for twenty years in both secondary and tertiary arenas, having a background in science, science and mathematics education, and educational psychology. One of her main passions continues to be teaching students how to learn effectively, and to build their confidence and success as learners.
